Custom hull orders: not offered
No — custom hulls aren't something we can do. Each mold runs $50,000–$100,000, so we focus on innovative configurable designs that adapt to many third-party motor and drive options instead of customizing per buyer.

Why hull-level customization isn't viable
A kayak hull starts with a rotomold or thermoform tool — that's the physical mold the plastic is shaped into. Each mold is a six-figure piece of capital equipment, and changing the hull shape means cutting (or building) a new one.
For a single buyer, that math doesn't work for anyone. We'd rather pour that engineering investment into hulls that work for a thousand buyers than build one bespoke boat.
Where the configurability lives
Instead, we built configurability into the parts of the boat that can be customized without a new mold:
- Drive options — Traverse Pedal Drive, Hobie fin drives (via the Fin Drive Adapter), or paddle-only on the same hull
- Trolling motor compatibility — Power-Pole bolt pattern at the bow (Outpost 128) and stern (most models), Minn-Kota and MotorGuide patterns where applicable, with the bolt-pattern reference doc spelling out exactly what fits where
- Accessory rails — four Quad Rails per kayak with the lengths to match Hobie / YakAttack / RAM / Scotty / Railblaza accessories
- Seat positions — multiple mounting points, fore/aft adjustment range, Horizon Perch and Treklite second-seat options
- Electronics pod (Outpost 128) — fish finder, transducer, battery integration
That's where we put the design effort. A Cajo can be rigged 50 different ways without changing the hull.
Common requests we hear and what we say
- "Can you add a stern pocket for a Minn-Kota?" — No, we can't modify the hull. But the bolt pattern reference shows where stern Power-Pole / MotorGuide / Bixpy fits today.
- "Can you make a longer Terra?" — No, Terra is what it is. The Outpost 128 is the longer hull in the lineup if you want more length.
- "Can you add bow rod holders?" — Quad Rails plus a YakAttack/Scotty mount does that.
