Why no public creator discount
The honest version: a blanket "we'll give you 30% off if you post about it" program tends to attract the wrong fit. We'd rather work with creators we've actually evaluated — paddlers, anglers, content folks whose audience and approach match what we're building — than run a public deal that generates a lot of low-engagement posts.
So instead of a public discount, we run the Content Field Team as a curated roster. If there's a fit, the relationship comes with whatever support actually makes sense — gear, content collaboration, event invites, pro-deal pricing on additional purchases, etc.
What goes into a strong submission
- Consistent content output in paddlesports, fishing, or adjacent outdoor verticals
- Honest takes on gear — including stuff we don't make
- Specifics on what you'd want to do with Cajo — long-form review, build series, tournament coverage, instructional, etc.
- Engagement, not just follower count
What happens after you submit
If there's a fit, you'll hear from our team. We don't reply to every submission individually — there are a lot — but every submission goes into the roster we pull from for opportunities. Not hearing back right away isn't a no forever; it's a "we'll keep you on file."
