What the Content Field Team is

The Cajo Content Field Team is our umbrella for:

  • Pro staff anglers
  • Content creators (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc.)
  • Ambassadors
  • Affiliate / pro-deal applicants
  • Fishing team applicants
  • Sponsorship inquiries

All of those route to the same form because honestly, the people we end up working with usually wear more than one hat — most of our pro staff make content, and most of our creator partners fish tournaments.

What we look for

We review everyone, but realistically the strongest applications have:

  • Consistent content output in paddlesports, fishing, or adjacent outdoor verticals
  • An honest take on gear — including stuff we don't make. We don't need cheerleaders.
  • Engaged audience rather than raw follower count (a 5K audience that actually fishes beats a 100K audience that doesn't)
  • Specifics on what you'd want to do with Cajo — long-form review, build series, tournament coverage, instructional, etc.

What we don't do

We don't have a public "send us free gear and we'll post" program. We also don't run a public affiliate discount or pro deal — see Content creator / pro staff discount. The Content Field Team form is the front door for all of it.

What happens after you submit

If there's a fit for what you're doing and what we're working on this season, you'll hear from our team. We don't reply to every submission individually — there are a lot — but every submission goes into the roster we pull from. If you don't hear back right away, that's not a no forever; it's a "not right now, we'll keep your info on file."
