Ordering a Cajo from outside the US

For countries without a local distributor, we ship direct via LCL using a 4-step invoice process. International shipping is $300 USD flat and EU delivery averages 50 days.

Hello, glad you like our Cajo! We don't have a distributor in your country yet, but we can ship an order direct to you. It's not a fast option, but it's very reliable.

The 4-step LCL process

Create an account on our site (caminojourney.com) and add your shipping address and phone number for our logistics team.
Tell us what you want on your order — kayak model, drive option, accessories — and we'll send you an invoice via email.
International shipping cost: $300 USD flat.
We'll crate your Cajo and accessories for maximum shipping protection and ship via LCL (Less than Container Load). Average EU delivery time: 50 days.

Country-by-country expectations

EU (most countries) — LCL flow. ~50-day average delivery. Active distributor work for Spain + broader EU, targeted fall 2026.
Canada — Highlander inflatables and Traverse Pedal Drive System can ship via standard checkout (faster than LCL). For rigid hulls (Outpost, Terra), use the LCL flow.
Australia, Mexico, Panama — LCL flow.
South Korea, Mauritius, Costa Rica — buy local through our existing dealers there: Polymarine (Korea), Fishing Camp (Mauritius), Mundo Kayak (Costa Rica). See International dealers.

What LCL actually means

LCL = Less than Container Load. Your crate rides in a shared container with other freight. That's how the $300 shipping cost stays reasonable — you're not paying for a dedicated container.

The trade-off is consolidation time at origin, ocean transit, and customs clearance at destination, which together typically add up to ~50 days for EU. Other regions can be longer.

Note on the dealers-only model

This direct-international flow is the exception to our usual "dealers-only" model — we only do it for countries with no local distributor. As regional distribution coverage expands (EU first, then Canada, Australia after), the direct flow phases out in favor of local dealer purchases.
