Assembly walkthrough (2 steps)

Step 1 — Connect backrest to base

Insert the seat backrest hinge post into the seat base hinge brackets.

Step 2 — Bolt + adjust seat strap

Thread the seat strap through the seat strap buckle and adjust the lean angle to your preference.

Use the provided bolt (part A) and nut (part B) to secure the seat backrest to the seat base hinge bracket.

Mounting to a Highlander Series inflatable (Step 3)

  1. Loop the mounting strap around the seat frame and pass the clip through the loop.
  2. Clip the seat strap to the nearest D-Ring that's at least 6 inches from the seat. Repeat for all 4 seat straps.
  3. Tighten the seat strap using the tension buckles after securing all 4.

User guide — 3 functions

  1. Backrest Straps — Tighten or loosen the straps to recline or raise the seat back.
  2. Gear Tracks — Use the sidesaddle gear tracks to mount steering handles, cup holders, and standard T-bolt accessories.
  3. Seat Risers — Fold the seat risers underneath the seat to change between high, low, and recumbent positions.

Hi-low seating adjustments

Fold the seat risers underneath the seat to switch between:

  • High position — risers down, seat at full height
  • Low position — risers tucked, seat closer to the deck for surf launches and lower CoG
  • Recumbent position — risers re-positioned, seat reclined further back for a longer paddle posture

Pairing with the Horizon Elevated Seat Perch

The Treklite Seat is compatible with the Horizon Elevated Seat Perch for stand-up sight fishing height. Same bracket geometry as the Horizon Pro Seat — the perch bolts directly to the Treklite frame.
