Assembly walkthrough (6 steps)

Step 1 — Seat base frame

Connect the seat base tie rods (1) between the seat base supports (left + right) using M5×14 bolts (part A, ×4). This forms the base rectangle.

Step 2 — Attach the bottom frame + left armrest

Attach the bottom frame (4) with the left armrest (5) and left armrest backing plate (6) using M6×35 bolts (part D, ×4) and M6×20 bolts (part C, ×3).

Step 3 — Attach the right armrest

Attach the right armrest (7) and right armrest backing plate (8) using M6×35 bolts (part D, ×4) and M6×20 bolts (part C, ×3).

Step 4 — Install seat bottom

Insert the seat bottom (9) into the seat frame using M6×40 bolts (part E, ×4) and M6 nuts (part F, ×4) — 2 on each side at the hinge points.

Step 5 — Install backrest + attach to bottom strap

Place the seat backrest (10) onto the backrest hinge brackets. Use M5 nuts (part B, ×2) and M6×20 bolts (part G, ×2) to attach the seat bottom strap to the strap buckle on the backrest.

Step 6 — Install onto seat base + add Dropbox

Place the Horizon Pro Seat onto the seat base. Engage the yellow Mantis Seat Clips until they click to ensure the seat is properly secured.

Slide the Dropbox (11) under the seat until it engages the rear stoppers. Use the bungee lashings on the front of the Dropbox to secure the bin in place.

User guide — 8 functions

Backrest Straps — Tighten or loosen the straps to recline or raise the seat back.
Recumbent Angle Selector — Take weight off the seat. Pull the seat base forward to pull it out of the bracket. Align both sides and slide the base into any of the four bracket positions. Make sure both brackets are fully seated before sitting.
Armrest Gear Tracks — Use the armrest gear tracks to mount steering handles and standard T-bolt accessories.
Mantis Seat Clips — Engage all 4 seat clips until they snap into place to secure the Horizon Pro Seat to the seat base.
Horizon Seat Removable Dropbox — Use the bungee tabs on the ends of the Dropbox to secure the bin under the seat.
Seat Base Quad Rails — Use the under-seat Quad Rails to mount accessories and gear.
Seat Base Trim Adjustment Thumbscrew — Loosen thumbscrews to adjust seat base forwards and backwards. Tighten the thumbscrews when the seat base is in the ideal position.
High-Low Position — Disengage all 4 Mantis Seat Clips to move the seat from the high position to the low position. Re-engage the seat clips until they click to ensure the seat is secured before using.

Seat angle adjustment

Pull the seat base forward until both supporting posts disengage from the handrails.
Lift or lower the seat base to the desired position and insert the supporting posts to the corresponding slots.
Push the seat base inward until both supporting posts snap securely into the handrail slots.
The seat is now at your desired angle.

Seat height adjustment (high → low)

Pull all four yellow Mantis Seat Clips outward to unlock them from the seat base.
Lift the seat up.
Lower the seat at an angle and ensure the rear seat base is securely locked into the lower slot.
Close the front two yellow Mantis Seat Clips to secure the seat in the low position.
