What that covers
If something on the drive fails inside that window from a manufacturing or workmanship defect — a prop that won't lock vertical with the indexer set, a gearbox that loses engagement, a crank arm that cross-threads at install — we'll get a replacement out to you.
If you're seeing one of these symptoms now, the fastest path is to file through the claims form with your HIN and a couple of photos.
What's separate
The hull itself carries a limited lifetime warranty, and other parts (rudder, steering handle, hardware) are covered for 1 year. Those are tracked separately from the drive's 5-year period.
